About Us
Glenn Penna has over 25 years of experience developing managers, leaders and organizations. In his coaching and consulting, he brings the ability to think strategically about learning and development, while acting tactically to implement programs and services that immediately impact performance. Strategically, he demonstrates the core skills of needs analysis, design, delivery, implementation, and evaluation. In short, he acts in multiple roles – consultant, team facilitator, implementer, coach, workshop leader and designer.
Glenn has held senior leadership positions in several companies and industries, including AT&T, Thomson Financial, Biogen, Shire, and Takeda helping to plan, build and run transformational programs. As a consultant, he has worked with such companies as Corning, CVS/Pharmacy, Verizon, Harvard Medical School, and the VA Healthcare System, focusing on building organizational effectiveness through management and leadership development, executive coaching and team building/facilitation.
In addition to his corporate experience, Glenn had served as an adjunct professor at Emmanuel College for Graduate and Professional programs for more than ten years. He facilitated courses in Management, Leadership, and Organizational Development for undergraduate and graduate learners. He serves as a Trustee (Treasurer) for the Francis W. Parker Charter Essential School.
Glenn holds a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an M.S.M. from Emmanuel College. He is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and Energy Leadership Index Master (ELI-MP), trained through IPEC, a program accredited by the International Coaching Foundation (ICF) and recognized as the highest standard in the coaching profession. Glenn is a passionate traveler who has visited six continents, with intentions of visiting all seven. He is an avid reader of history and biographies, while also enjoying cycling, outdoor activities, and time with his wife, Pamela and their three sons.
